This Privacy Policy explains what ReelReveal collects, how that information is used, and the limited ways data is processed so the app can identify scenes, manage subscriptions, and provide support.
What we collect
ReelReveal uses a device identifier provided by the app to track free monthly reveals and associate an active Pro subscription with the same device.
If you restore or verify a subscription, ReelReveal may send signed App Store transaction data to our backend so the subscription can be validated.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your email.
How we use information
- To analyze supported links and return scene identification results.
- To track monthly free usage and unlock Pro access after subscription verification.
- To maintain service reliability, investigate issues, and respond to support requests.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service working as intended.
Third-party services
- Purchases, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store.
- ReelReveal uses external service providers to process scene analysis and retrieve movie or TV metadata needed to deliver results.
- Those providers only receive the information needed to complete the request.
Storage and retention
- We store device-level usage records to keep track of monthly reveal limits.
- We store subscription entitlement records needed to determine whether Pro access is active.
- Submitted links may be stored in usage and job records needed to process requests and operate the service.
Your choices
- You can stop using ReelReveal at any time.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information in support emails.
